A few words on vocabulary

Backup password: The password you set when you first sign up. It protects your patient names and MRNs.
Your device: The phone or laptop you signed in from. The app remembers different things on different devices.
Encrypted: Scrambled in a way that only your device, using your backup password, can unscramble.
